Meet the heart of Wild Child Collective Doula

I am Candice, better known as Candi in my community, and I am the heart behind Wild Child Collective Doula Services. What began as my personal passion for supporting families has blossomed into a beautiful collective of amazing doulas and spiritual womb practitioner who share my commitment to compassionate, holistic, and empowering care. 

 I have extensive experience as an Abortion advocate, Childbirth educator, Cloth diaper educator, Labor/Birth doula, Postpartum & Infant Care doula, Spiritual Death Doula, Placenta Encapsulator, Spiritual Womb Practitioner and Early Childhood Education expert. 

Additionally, I am a retired Florida licensed Family Childcare Provider for over 18 years. I'm a strong advocate for breastfeeding and baby wearing, and I am deeply passionate about empowering, educating, and supporting my community through every stage of life.

As the heart of Wild Child Collective Doula, I am honored to work alongside a tribe of incredible doulas and spiritual womb practitioners, who bring their own gifts, experiences, and wisdom to families we serve. Together, we strive to create a village where families feel seen, heard, respected, educated, and genuinely supported. 

As a mother of two teenage girls, I enjoy traveling, participating in Caribbean carnivals, reading, exploring different cuisines, and listening to Soca music. My cultural background is Trinbagonian and Haitian I am a proud Afro-Caribbean American blending the best of all three “worlds”. 

My focus is to empower, educate, and provide meaningful support to my community in prenatal, birth, postpartum, and reproductive journeys, emphasizing a holistic and spiritual approach to care for the birthing individual, their partner and baby.

-it is a village, a tribe, and a space rooted in love, knowledge, culture, spirituality, and community.

My ultimate goal is to promote love, unity, and collective care within our tribe. I am grateful to have built a community of individuals who are passionate about holding space for others, and I am thrilled to connect with you, welcome you into our village, and be a part of your journey.
