Bain Fey, known as the "herbal bath," is a cherished tradition in Haiti, passed down through generations. This herbal bath has been utilized for centuries to aid recovery after childbirth, with mothers, grandmothers, and aunts preparing it as a natural healing remedy. It promotes lactation, helps eliminate excess fluids and old blood, and enhances overall wellness.

This esteemed practice incorporates various herbs that support and rejuvenate the body during the postpartum period, utilizing methods like bathing, yoni steams, and herbal teas. The benefits of Bain Fey extend well beyond pregnancy, assisting individuals in regaining strength and well-being after experiences such as miscarriage, abortion, or physical exhaustion at any stage of life.

The bath service you receive the Bain Fey bath and then a womb massage.

Many cultures have a postpartum tradition called belly binding, which helps in the recovery period by providing support to the uterus and other organs after childbirth. At Wild Child Collective Doula Services, we specialize in the Bengkung style of belly binding as well as the Haitian method of binding, using ethically handmade binds crafted by an African and or Indigenous  people. This service is done 24 hours to 48 hours after birth, or four to seven days after a C-section. You will receive your own belly binding cloth. During our session I will explain how to use these products, let you and your partner practice.

The bind is kept on for 10 to 12hours in the day, normally from the moment you wake up to before you go to bed. This is done for the traditional 6weeks for best results.This session is usually 30 to 40 minutes.

Womb meditation is a practice that fosters a deeper connection with your womb area, enhancing your awareness of your body. It helps to cleanse both your energetic and physical womb space, allowing you to release past experiences while offering profound healing and revitalization. This practice is a powerful way to reclaim your natural healing abilities.

Yoni steaming is a time-honored holistic practice that involves using herbal steam baths to nurture and rejuvenate the reproductive system. The term "yoni" comes from Sanskrit and signifies the female reproductive organs. 

The Yoni steam service lasts two hours and takes place in the comfort of your own home. A Womb Practitioner will arrive with everything you need, including the Yoni steam seat, herbs and a basin for your steam experience. For your womb massage experience yoni oil will be offered
